Three generations of the Salerno family have been dishing out pizza for 40 years, first in Berwyn, Ill., and, since 2004, in Gilbert. Pizza and Family Dinners.

The winning formula: fresh and homemade. There are two pounds of wonderful Wisconsin cheese on the large (feeds 4-5), and the pepperoni has an appealing bite.

Serendipity Custom Designs, el Pedregal at the Boulders Resort, Scottsdale Arizona

Serendipity showcases custom handmade jewelry: Sapphires and many other colored gemstones in uniquely designed rings, bracelets, collars and necklaces. Also available , handmade beautiful clothing, canvas artwork and sculptures.

The entire shop is a showcase for handmade artwork in many forms. Murals by Nora was hired to apply artwork to the entire space in the form of aged plaster glaze faux finish, faux stone columns, faux boulders with waterfall, and large wall murals and a floor mural in the clothing area depicting views of Sri Lanka where the sapphires are obtained from.

Shugrue's and Javalina Cantina restaurants at el Pedregal of the Boulders in Scottsdale Arizona. At Shugrue's I created a faux bois finish on all the windows and doors in the restaurant dining area and in the bathrooms created some geometric 'squiggles' for the walls. For the Javalina Cantina I created graphics for the men's and women's restrooms as well as applying a decorative faux finish to a saguaro cactus skeleton that is in the dining area.

The showroom windows at Chapman Chevrolet in Tempe, Arizona become a canvas for a variety of Nutcrackers
during the Christmas holiday season for several years. The nutcrackers range in height from 20" to 15 feet tall.
Along with the nutcrackers, I include various holiday decorations into the mural. I layout the mural with white acrylic paint,
using rollers to "draw" the items, after the entire mural is laid out in white, I start adding all the colors using
latex and artist acrylics. The entire mural is easily removed at the end of the season by spraying
Windex and lightly scraping with a plastic blade.

Champion Ballroom Dance Academy in San Diego marbleized front doors for Anniversary Celebration

Erie Elementary School in Chandler Arizona, I created a park like feel in the cafeteria, students painted birdhouses. The teachers lounge also got a facelift, new wall paint and an apple tree/flower garden mural in the main room.

Perkins Oklahoma 8-03, 2000 square foot historic mural.

Rosewood Manor is a Wedding and Reception facility in Chandler Arizona. The wedding ceremony gazebo and columns were plain cast concrete that were faux finished in a travertine marble. The columns are primed, fauxed and sealed with several layers of protective polyurethane.
